Rediet Abebe
Rediet Abebe is a Junior Fellow at the Harvard Society of Fellows and Andrew Carnegie Fellow. Her research examines the interaction of algorithms and inequality, with a focus on contributing to the mathematical and computational foundations of this area. She is serving on the executive committee for ACM EAAMO and was a program co-chair for the inaugural conference. Rediet is on leave as an assistant professor of computer science at UC Berkeley. She holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Cornell University, master's degrees in applied mathematics from Harvard University and in Part III of the Mathematical Tripos from the University of Cambridge, and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Harvard University.
